Road detection on a long curve with thick fog

Road detection on a long curve with lots of fog : road detection in suck a case is difficult because :: . road markings are blurred (see the left white line). curve generated folded shapes that may show straight lines where there are not. thick fog changes the seen texture of the road That is why NEXYAD is currently testing their road detection module on complicated cases (night, fog, rain, sun in front of the camera, ...). Road detection for ADAS and driverless car : RoadNex V2.2 on highway with traffic

Here is a demo of RoadNex V2.2 on highwayx with traffic. RoadNex V2.2 doesn't need markings to detect the lane, and is supposed to cooperate with a makings detection for highway driverless applications (in order to locate the vehicle on its lane). Here is an example of road detection on a foggy highway : road with fog doesn't have the same constrast and the same color saturation than road without fog, so needs the road detectionalgorithm to be very robust.
